Squire Town Squares in Winthrop hosted the Graduation Ball this year, a dance to recognize all new students, either recent graduates or those who started in January.

Lee Kennedy, Walter Lougee and Walt Bull were scheduled to do the calling with Carol Stewart doing the cueing (due to extenuating circumstances Walter Lougee and Lee Kennedy didn’t make it but Walt Bull called a great dance and was able to dance when Al Hipkins called one tip).  At least 16 squares were on the floor dancing at this celebration with close to 40 students and new graduates that were recognized.  As can be seen from all the pictures this dance brought us together for a wonderful celebration of friendship and square dancing in Maine.  Photos provided by Kathy Menet of the SAGE Swingers.
